Tobin Lake, formed by the Squaw Rapids Dam on the Saskatchewan River, is widely considered one of the best walleye lakes in Canada. The lake regularly produces trophy walleye over 10 pounds, with fish in the 3-6 pound range common. The flooded timber and structure provide excellent habitat. Tobin Lake is also famous for its northern pike fishery, with fish exceeding 20 pounds caught every year. Spring and fall are prime time.
