Real-time conditions, 5-day forecast, and a 0-100 Bite Score.
What it does
The Weather & Forecast screen gives you everything you need to plan a trip: current temperature, humidity, wind, and a 5-day forecast with daily highs, lows, and conditions.
It's powered by real-time data for your exact location, plus:
- Bite Score — a 0-100 forecast of how good fishing should be right now, combining solunar periods, weather, tides, and your own catch history
- Know the Rules — key regulations for the nearest waterbody: limits, slots, barbless-hook rules
- Know the Rules banners — appear on the Map, Prepare for Fishing, and Trips screens so you always know the regs nearby
How to use it
- Open Weather from the ⋮ menu (or the Forecast screen).
- Check the Bite Score at the top — higher is better.
- Review the 5-day forecast and wind for the coming days.
- Check the Know the Rules card for regulations at the nearest waterbody.
- Tap View full regulations to see the complete rules, seasons, and licence info.
💡 Pro tips
Combine the Bite Score with Solunar Times for the best results — fish during major periods for peak action. Wind direction arrows help you choose which side of the lake to fish.
Know the Rules arrival alerts
Want to be reminded on the water? Enable Know the Rules alerts in Settings → Push Notifications. When you arrive near a waterbody that has fishing regulations, you get a notification — even with the app closed. It's opt-in, so it only works if you turn it on.
