The Today's Pick feature scores your tackle options against live conditions — cold weather favors jigs and slow presentations, warm weather boosts topwater and spinnerbaits, and overcast days are prime for topwater lures.
How to use it
- Build your Tackle Box first — add lures and gear from the catalog or your own.
- Open the Tackle Box screen and look for Today's Pick.
- The app scores your tackle against today's weather, season, and water conditions.
- Tie on the top-rated lure and go fish!
The tackle catalog is pre-loaded with target species and fishing tips for every entry, so building your box is fast.
What affects the pick
- Cold weather (under 12°C): jigs and slow presentations score higher
- Warm weather: topwater and spinnerbaits get a boost
