Fishing in Western Newfoundland

1. Humber River (Atlantic Salmon, Brook Trout)

The Humber River is one of Newfoundland's premier Atlantic salmon rivers. Flowing into the Bay of Islands, it produces large salmon in the 8-15 pound range. The river also offers excellent brook trout fishing in its upper reaches and tributaries. Fly fishing with classic salmon flies is the standard.
