General Rules (barbless hooks are the #1 cause of fines)
- ⚠ A Texas fishing license with the appropriate endorsement is required (freshwater endorsement for inland waters, saltwater for coastal).
- ⚠ Game fish may be taken only by pole and line, except as otherwise provided in the guide.
- ⚠ Possession limits are twice the statewide daily bag limits.
- ⚠ For freshwater fishes not listed, there are no statewide daily bag or length limits.
- ⚠ Alligator gar harvested (except Falcon International Reservoir) must be reported within 24 hours via the Texas Hunt & Fish app.

- This water body is contained within a State Park boundary. No fishing license required.

- There is no minimum length limit or daily bag limit for common carp.
- For blue and channel catfish, minimum length = 14 inches and combined daily bag limit = 15 fish. For flathead catfish, minimum length = 18 inches and daily bag = 5.

Bass weighing 13 pounds or more may be donated to the ShareLunker Program; otherwise, the fish must be immediately released in the lake where caught. Anglers wishing to donate their bass must immediately cease fishing and contact TPWD at (903) 681-0550. Anglers may not remove the bass from the immediate vicinity of the reservoir unless instructed to do so by TPWD staff. Bass not accepted by TPWD must be immediately released. For smallmouth bass (if present), minimum length is 14 inches. No minimum length limit for Alabama, Guadalupe, and spotted bass (if present). Daily bag limit for all black bass species is 5 in any combination.
