Texas offers some of the most diverse fishing in America — from the Gulf Coast red snapper and speckled trout to the Hill Country spring-fed trout streams, and from the massive bass-fishing reservoirs of East Texas to the catfish rivers of the Panhandle. Texas has 3,300 miles of tidal shoreline, 7,000+ lakes, and 15 major river systems. Lake Fork is famous for trophy largemouth bass, and the Gulf provides world-class offshore fishing.
