From world-class walleye and northern pike on Lake Winnipeg and the Saskatchewan River delta to the remote fly-in lake trout fisheries of the Canadian Shield, Manitoba offers outstanding fishing across the prairies, parklands, and boreal north. The Red and Assiniboine Rivers provide excellent urban fishing in Winnipeg for catfish, walleye, and goldeye.
