Selfie Camera

Built-in camera with countdown timer for perfect catch photos — even solo.

What it does

The Selfie Camera uses your phone's front camera so you can hold the fish and snap the photo yourself — no second angler needed. A countdown timer gives you time to pose with your catch.

The camera is built into the catch form: take the photo, and it attaches to the catch automatically. GPS and weather are recorded at the same moment, so every catch has its full story.

How to use it

  1. Tap + to add a catch (or open the Add Catch screen).
  2. Tap the camera button — the front camera opens.
  3. Hold the fish up and tap the shutter — a countdown gives you time to pose.
  4. The photo attaches to your catch; the form is pre-filled with GPS and weather.
  5. Say "save" and everything is recorded.

💡 Pro tips

A small tripod or gooseneck phone mount with a wide-angle view lets you capture the whole fish. Test the angle before you fish — you want the camera to see both you and the fish.
