Big Trout Lake is a large, remote lake in the far north of Ontario, located in the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation territory. The lake offers excellent northern pike and lake trout fishing in a pristine wilderness setting. The lake is fly-in only, accessible through the community of Kitchenuhmaykoosib (Big Trout Lake). The lake's remote location and minimal fishing pressure produce quality fish. Lake trout in the 5-15 pound range are common.
