General Rules (barbless hooks are the #1 cause of fines)

  • ⚠ Trout stocked waters: baitfish may not be taken during pre-season closure through June 15.
  • ⚠ Special regulation areas (Trophy Trout, Holdover Trout Lakes, Trout Conservation Areas, Catch and Release areas) have their own rules.
  • ⚠ Saltwater species (striped bass, fluke, etc.) have separate marine regulations.

Mountain Lake

Monksville Reservoir

Greenwood Lake
  • Trophy muskie 44 in min; herring: 6 in max, 35/day, unused herring returned to lake.
