Fishing Regulations
- Some waters have more restrictive limits - check Special Regulations: Fishing Waters for the specific water.
- Fish on stringer/container or not returned to water immediately count toward the bag limit; released fish don't count.
- Transporting live fish without permits is prohibited.
- Illegal to take: greenback cutthroat trout, Colorado pikeminnow, razorback sucker, bonytail, humpback chub, roundtail chub, flannelmouth sucker, etc.
- Species not on the limits chart have no bag/possession limits or are restricted/illegal to take.
